The solution for perimeter access control developed by the Filippetti Group allows you to create an effective perimeter (or internal) protection infrastructure for specific areas.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Perimeter access control is achieved through the use of extremely reliable proprietary technologies, characterised by great flexibility since it is wireless and connected to the IoT SmartPlatform.

The devices, in fact, use batteries (except for certain video surveillance equipment), a feature that makes Filippetti Group’s solutions revolutionary and usable in complex contexts.

Two main types of sensors are used in addition to the SmartNetwork wireless network: perimeter sensors and REED sensors. Perimeter Sensors are battery-powered advanced accelerometers developed by Filippetti Group, capable of high-precision vibration, interference and damage detection. When one of these events is detected, an alarm is issued, which is transmitted in real time to the Platform.

REED sensors consist of two elements, a magnet and a metal part, and are typically used for monitoring doors and windows. An alarm is sent to the IoT SmartPlatform when the contact between the two elements is broken.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Buildings that are not equipped with access control systems, particularly if they host delicate and complex functions, are subject to numerous risks that can impact business and personal safety. Filippetti Group’s proprietary IoT solution adapts to the customer’s specific needs and allows you to track and verify the identity of people accessing a building in real time.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Thanks to active or passive tags and detection systems installed on predefined access points (ports, gates, etc.), it is possible to track each employee’s access with absolute accuracy, by recognising their identity through the tag associated with them. 

Recognition with active technology is implemented through the SaveMENOW wearable devices. These communicate with the Beacons that build the proximity localisation infrastructure and activate the identification of the device in transit in something similar to a virtual gate.

Readings are sent to the SmartNetwork’s gateways that promptly record requests and transits. All messages are then transferred to the Filippetti Group’s IoT SmartPlatform, for the centralised control, accounting, monitoring and management of access policies.

The platform, which is in contact with the network infrastructure, returns the output, i.e. positive or negative authorisation. Our solution also allows the activation of different and complex control software that avoid irritating identification errors.

It is also possible to implement recognition by means of passive technology through using the RFid or NFC tags and battery-powered wireless readers that can be easily installed in remote areas or on mobile access points (e.g. construction sites).

GENERAL OVERVIEW

This solution has been developed by Filippetti Group to allow you to implement a system for the building automation of offices, and commercial and industrial buildings in which you want to monitor and manage the opening of doors and windows. Door and window automation is based on non-invasive magnetic sensors and easy-to-install actuators, and allows for the implementation of flexible and customised logics based on specific needs.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

The solution uses long-life, low-consumption proprietary wireless sensors powered by batteries. These are positioned on doors and windows and detect and send status information (open or closed), or activate remote-controlled opening and closing of doors and windows by means of relays.

Commands and information are also transferred to the IoT SmartPlatform, which enables constant monitoring of the gates’ status and logics configuration based on specific permissions and recognitions, or which are simply timed to open or close doors and windows for the centralised management of environment security.

The solution, developed by Filippetti Group, helps security managers to fully digitalise the focal points by obtaining information on their possible violation by malicious persons.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

This solution facilitates the real-time monitoring of the manholes’ status and the receipt of alarms in the case that they are opened or, more generally, tampered with.  Through wireless sensors powered by long-life batteries (up to 10 years) and equipped with accelerometers and inertial sensors, it is possible to detect tampering and the opening of manholes above a given inclination.

The system allows you to correlate the detection with any planned maintenance interventions and activate alarm events in case of unplanned/unauthorised operations.

The system is fully compatible with Filippetti Group’s SmartNetwork.

The solution for the protection of artistic and cultural heritage developed by Filippetti Group, contributes to their  security and conservation in an easy and non-invasive way, through the use of state-of-the-art IoT technologies and software.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

For the security of the artistic heritage and the conservation condition of a piece of art, a solution should be adopted that is capable of controlling the access of non-authorised personnel to the areas and the fundamental environmental conditions that ensure prevention and the valorisation of the works.

Our sensors, which are powered by long-lasting batteries (up to 10 years), are inserted into enclosures that harmonise and integrate perfectly with the environments of the building in which they are placed, making them aesthetically unobtrusive. They are also even easy to install in sensitive environments (near works of art, in temporary museums, etc.), given the absence of wiring.

This solution also has a possible extension with the adoption of environmental monitoring solutions for exhibition areas.

If abnormal conditions occur compared to the predefined safety conditions for a given work, it is possible to activate modules for asset traceability and indoor location to detect an asset’s movements (and position) when it is tampered with. This functionality is guaranteed by native integration with unauthorised RTLS positioning, access control and unauthorised presence control solutions developed by Filippetti Group.

The solution, which is entirely developed on our technology platform, simplifies the management and configuration of video surveillance services in any environment, with still images and real-time video streaming.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

In combination with Filippetti Group’s sensors and IoT SmartPlatform, the solution allows remote camera control (slewing) of major video surveillance solutions and the collection of images from video streaming or still-cam of events recorded by other elements of the platform. This can include the simple presence of people, up to the detection of security breaches.

The solution extends the functionality of the most popular video surveillance systems, by integrating event monitoring generated by IoT sensors (presence sensors, parking lot monitoring, access control, etc.) to better manage the entire audio and video recording equipment.
