OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Our RFID infrastructure includes the installation of Virtual Gate at the entrances and exits of warehouses, near transfer areas to production or quality control, and on loading and discharging bays.

Each gate is equipped with reading devices properly selected and configured to offer maximum efficiency with respect to the type of tag used and the conditions of the surrounding environment. The gates work automatically, thanks to a detection system that activates the reader during the transit of goods, or in interactive mode, through an interface installed on board of a PC Panel (or normal tablet), for greater control of control operations, order receipt or shipments verification in loading bays.

Field operations such as handling, inventory, or picking preparation are carried out using RFID handheld devices. The identified tags are managed by a middleware which manages the gate readings and sends data to the platform. Here the data is processed to provide the user with a series of views and features that allow for the control and monitoring of stocks and material flows.

The Material Tracking solution allows you to determine and control the physical location of materials spread out in areas and sub-areas of a Site.

Our solution is designed to improve material management processes at industrial or construction sites, and is capable of:

The Vehicle Tracking solution is built on an innovative Smart Network infrastructure that uses wireless routers that make it possible to take the IoT wherever you want.

By using our technologies for indoor location (UWB and magnetic beacons for both proximity and 3D spatial location) and/or using technologies for outdoor GPS location (SaveMENOW) and  Passive RFid tags positioned inside the vehicle, we are able to trace the position of any vehicle inside and outside car parks and yards in real time.

Filippetti Group’s dedicated Manufacturing Tracking solution is able to improve Real-Time Supply Chain management and control, speed up inventory and product search operations, automate Inbound/Outbound processes, and ensure greater control over Warehouse flows. 

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

The solution is based on open standards and can be integrated with existing ERP and MES systems.

Each asset is tagged with a RFID tag with different characteristics and performance depending on the scope of application. Appropriate fixed reading points are installed along the production chain, which are equipped with built-in antennas and readers which can identify the good as it passes by and transmit the data to the system. The platform acquires and processes the data, providing process control and handling procedures. Appropriate Virtual Gates can be installed in the transit gates to manage warehouse flows. Finally, mobile devices provided to operators allow field operations of data inventories, handling, picking and packing identification and updating to support manual processes.

The application framework manages the RFID technology and provides all interaction interfaces to the system: tools for data visualisation and management, applications on Panel PC for Gate control, mobile App for operations on portable devices, client applications for coding and printing tags.

The Brand Protection solution is aimed at the fashion world and, more generally, at those markets where it is necessary to trace goods and protect the authenticity of products with absolute certainty, preserving the interests of consumers and producers.

The centralised portal allows the census of goods through a series of native connectors to be integrated with the customer ERP systems, and allows you to keep the products that are put onto the market even on very long and extended distribution chains under control.

The inspection activity at the points of sale is supported through a specific mobile APP. The system recognises UHF and NFC RFid tags, and immediately returns the authenticity information and records the place, date and time of the inspection on the portal.

From an analysis of the inspection data it is possible to obtain information on the distribution path of a product and to verify the correctness of the marketing channels by identifying illegal or unauthorised activities.
